Lydia Greenway is a recently retired England Women’s cricketer. She approached Blackberry Design to create the branding and website for ‘Cricket for Girls’.

Lydia is passionate about improving the skills and opportunities for all females who play cricket. She wanted a colourful and dynamic look to appeal to females without being too cliched.

Lydia and her team have delivered coaching across the UK. Thanks to the ‘Rounders to Cricket’ initiative Cricket for Girls are now working with teachers, as part of their CPD, to deliver high-quality cricket coaching.

How much does it cost to build a website?

Blackberry Design offer a competitively priced service from a simple one page website with hosting starting at £495, a multipage website from £1250 or an e commerce sites from £2500. Costs vary dependent on customer need and project complexity. Plus the more information you give us up front, the more accurate the estimate will be. We can also provide additional services to add value to your website including copywriting, image retouching, video editing, and SEO at extra cost. Just ask!

Do you offer Wordpress website maintenance and support?

Yes! Blackberry Design offer a monthly maintenance and support plan to keep your Wordpress website up-to-date. This includes updating the website’s WordPress core, plugins and themes. Plans can be adapted to include other services, for example, improving and testing, making simple text amendments, or uploading imagery or video.

Do I own my website?

In the vast majority of cases, once we have built your site and payment has been made in full, the website is your property.

Do I own my domain name?

If you bought your own domain name, you own it. If a domain name has been bought by Blackberry on your behalf, we will transfer it to a provider of your choice at any time. This may incur a small administration fee which we would pass on.

Do you offer website hosting?

We work with a specialist UK based web hosting company, Swift Internet. We recommend clients order the appropriate web hosting package directly from them, as well as register any domain names. As their client you will get 24-hour technical support, be the registrant and receive renewal notices from them directly.

Can I use WordPress on my website?

Blackberry Design are experts in using WordPress as a content management system along with a wide range of other content management platforms. We have the experience and capability to create fast-loading, mobile responsive websites that are highly secure and easy to update.
