Blackberry was formed in 1991 with Mike Brennan playing a pivotal role in establishing the fledgling agency. Mike and his team grew the business over the next decade before selling the business to Aaron Print in 2003.
Bought by Aaron Print and led by managing Director, Aston Colley, Blackberry continued to offer high-quality design services that perfectly complemented the print capability offered by Aaron.
In 2008, Blackberry was bought by Mark Fearon as part of a deal to buy Aaron Print. The deal saw Aston stay in the role of Managing Director and continuing to work with clients across the Midlands.
Blackberry celebrated their 25th anniversary. Whilst the business has constantly evolved to meet the changing needs of its customers, one thing has not - Blackberry have always been based at Greenlands Business Centre in Redditch.
Peter remembers learning to use Adobe Illustrator '88 - in 1988. Has been a designer for 25 years and has a Marketing degree. He finally conceded in 2012 that InDesign is now (probably) better than Quark Xpress.
Rhys is our Welsh 6’ 7” basketball playing perfectionist. Rhys likes to make sure every aspect of a project is covered with the client - so be warned - you may never get off the phone if he speaks to you!
Jacob once declared he didn’t know if he could live without his iPad, and, if he needed to know something he’d just Google it! He has never heard of most of the (old) bands or singers Peter likes.
